Putin, Erdogan hold bilateral meeting in Ankara
The Russian and Turkish presidents, Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, have started talks at the Cankaya presidential mansion in Ankara, where a trilateral summit on Syria between the Russian, Iranian and Turkish leaders kicks off on Monday.
As Russian TASS news agency reported, the meeting between the Russian and Turkish presidents is held behind closed doors.
Earlier the Kremlin reported that during the talks with President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and President of Iran Hassan Rouhani, further joint efforts to achieve a peaceful settlement in the Syrian Arab Republic will be discussed.
