Armenian PM to pay working visit to U.S.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia is leaving for the United States on a working visit on September 21, his press service reported.
The visit will begin from Los Angeles, where on Sunday the PM will address a rally at the Grand Park in central LA. Pashinyan will also hold meetings with the authorities of California and Los Angeles, leaders of religious and secular organizations in U.S. East Coast, as well as Armenian media representatives.
A business forum with participation of local business circles is also on the agenda.
The Armenian leader will next travel to San Jose, the Silicon Valley, to meet with representatives of IT companies, including Armenian experts.
The prime minister will then visit New York to address the 74th session of the UN General Assembly. He is expected to meet with UN Secretary General António Guterres, as well as with a number of colleagues from different countries.
Pashinyan is also set to meet with representatives of the local Armenian community, to attend an exhibition dedicated to the Velvet Revolution and to visit the Columbia University.
Memoranda of Cooperation are expected to be signed within the framework of the visit.
