Armenian parliament kicks off regular session
The Armenian National Assembly started its regular four-day session on Tuesday, October 22.
There are 21 items on the agenda, including a bill on making amendments to the law “On Service in the National Security Bodies” set to be debated on in the second reading.
The draft law has been submitted by the Bright Armenia opposition faction. It would allow any citizen aged over 25 who has lived in Armenia for four years be appointed director of the National Security Service or police chief.
