Armenia appoints new ambassador to Tunisia
President Armen Sarkissian of Armenia has signed a decree to appoint Arshak Poladian as the country’s new Ambassador to Tunisia (residence in Yerevan).
The president made the appointment based on the prime minister’s proposal.
Previously, Poladian served as Armenia’s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Syria and Jordan.
Poladian is a known expert of Oriental, Arabic and Kurdish studies. He published several important researches and monographs on the origin of Kurds based on the Arabic sources.
He is married and has two children.
