Armenian citizens exempted from registration in Kazakhstan within 30 days
The Armenian government on Thursday approved a proposal to sign the agreement on the procedure of visits and stay of citizens of Armenia and Kazakhstan.
According to the agreement, the Armenian and Kazakh citizens temporarily staying in each other's countries will be exempted from the obligation to register with the competent authorities of the state of entry within 30 days. They are also freed from the obligation to submit a migration card.
If the citizens stay longer than 30 days in Armenia or Kazakhstan, they are obliged to register with the competent authorities.
The citizens of Armenia and Kazakhstan, irrespective of their place of residence, can enter, exit or move freely in each other’s countries for up to 90 days.
Armenia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Avet Adonts noted that the deal will promote the development of relations and cooperation between the two countries in different spheres, as well as will create more favorable conditions for the Armenian citizens to carry out activities in Kazakhstan.
