Hungary ready for negotiations on its accession to Eurasian Economic Union
Hungary is ready for negotiations on accession to the Eurasian Economic Union, said Deputy Prime Minister of Hungary Mihaly Varga on November 29 during the XIV annual Eurasian Economic Integration conference in Moscow, Eurasia Diary reports.
Hungary's joining the union would open up new cooperation possibilities, he said. Central-Eastern European and Eurasian regions are two developing regions, he said.
"This would help develop economies of our countries, because we want to use the possibilities of news investments, opening of new enterprises and entering of new markets," he said.
The source reminds that Eurasian Economic Union comprises of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia.
