Armenian symphony orchestra, Maxim Vengerov to perform 8 concerts in Europe
The Armenian State Symphony Orchestra will perform eight concerts with world-famous Grammy Award–winning violinist Maxim Vengerov in Europe from 8-21 January as part of a concert tour, the orchestra’s press service told Panorama.am.
The concert program features pieces by renowned composers Dzhon Ter-Tadevosyan, Max Bruch and Maurice Ravel, with Dzhon Ter-Tadevosyan’s Symphony No.2 “The Fate of a Man” to performed on an international stage for the first time.
The entire concert tour will be filmed as a documentary to be aired on Medici TV, the world's leading classical music channel, with four of the concerts to be filmed by a professional crew.
The concerts are set to take place in Germany, Great Britain, Austria, the Czech Republic and Russia.
