Artsakh more vigilant as relative calm maintains on contact line – spox
Artsakh is practicing more vigilance as the relative calm on the line of contact with Azerbaijan maintains, Artsakh presidential spokesman Vahram Poghosyan said on Facebook.
"The ongoing military aggression provoked by the official Baku on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border once again testifies to the fact that, in the person of Ilham Aliyev’s illegitimate government, we are dealing with a group with maximalist ambitions, which takes steps against the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process,” he wrote.
“In this context, the weak reactions of the international community and the unilateral support of Turkey no way contribute to the peaceful and logical settlement of the issue, which can inevitably further complicate the situation,” Poghosyan stressed.
He reiterated that the situation along the Artsakh-Azerbaijan contact line remains stable and is under the full control of the Defense Army.
“However, as we perfectly understand who we are dealing with, the relative calm has not weakened, but has rather increased the vigilance, based on which adequate steps are being taken,” he added.
