Armenia reports 201 new COVID-19 cases on August 12
Armenia has confirmed 201 new coronavirus infections in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 40,794 as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 12, the Ministry of Health reports.
335 more patients have beaten COVID-19 with the total number of recoveries now standing at 33,492.
The coronavirus death toll has increased by 3 to 806.
The latest victims were 59 (male), 64 (female) and 60 (male) years old. All had underlying chronic health conditions.
The number of active cases is 6,262.
As many as 179,032 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
