Yerevan Opera theatre opens doors to the public
After a long break, the Opera and Ballet Theatre of Armenia will open doors to the music lovers. As General and Artistic Director at the Theatre Constantine Orbelian informed, the new season will start on January 31 with opera Anoush by Armen Tigranyan. The performance is dedicated to great singer, colleague and the director of the wonderful production Gegham Grigoryan.
"Our beloved Maestro Grigoryan presented and performed opera’s greatest tenor roles in the most famous opera houses in the world. He was a beloved colleague and undeniably one of the GREATEST tenors of the 20th Century. His performances at St. Petersburg’s Mariinsky Theater, New York’s Metropolitan Opera and the grand opera houses of Paris, Milan, London, Berlin, Munich, Amsterdam and Moscow have become legendary," Orbelian said.
