"Yesterday's rally organised by Pashinyan showed that authorities in Armenia failed to gather some 20,000 people despite exerting their final efforts and making use of administrative resources, which means, they will get less votes during the elections, and thanks God, we will get rid of them," former National Assembly Chief of Staff Ara Saghatelyan told am interview to Pastinfo. In Saghatelyan's words, the picture from yesterday's rally was sad. 

"According to estimates of their supporters, some 20,000 people were at the Republic Square attending the rally. I saw myself to what extent they used administrative resources during the organisation of the rally. They were registering employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations near the Marriott Hotel, I saw many people whom I got to know as employees of the judicial department, employees from the education system, police," said Saghatelyan. "This is the outcome  of the past three years as a result of the spread of Nikol and Nikolovirus we will definitely get rid of on June 20," stressed Saghatelyan. 

Asked what should be first steps of the new leadership after the elections, Saghatelyan's said: "Nikol stole not only the past three years from us but fully demoralized the society and undermined the public ethics. It is very important now to restore the unity and public ethics."   

"No matter how much money you invest in the country, they may not generate long-term income if there is no atmosphere of social solidarity and mutual perception for public ethics, respect and ability to listen to one another," Saghatelyan stressed, adding apart from institutional tasks, the new power in Armenia should deal with public ethics and 'denikolisation'.
