Azerbaijan again violates ceasefire on border with Armenia

Azerbaijani forces again violated the ceasefire on the border with Armenia early on Friday, the Defense Ministry said in a statement.

“On September 23, at 7:40am, the Azerbaijani army units again violated the ceasefire by opening fire from various caliber firearms at Armenian combat positions in the eastern section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border," the ministry said.

The Azerbaijani fire was suppressed by Armenia’s retaliatory measures.

No casualties were reported on the Armenian side.
