
Armenian governor steps down
The governor of Armenia's Shirak Province, Nazeli Baghdasaryan, has tendered her resignation.
"Today, I submitted a resignation letter to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan," she wrote on Facebook on Wednesday.
Baghdasaryan took office in November 2021. Prior to her appointment, she was the secretary of the ruling Civil Contract party’s parliamentary faction.
