Michel and Blinken hold phone call ahead of Armenia-Azerbaijan talks in Brussels

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Wednesday held a phone conversation with European Council President Charles Michel ahead of a new round of peace talks between the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Michel will host a trilateral meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Brussels on Sunday.

"Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken spoke today with European Council President Charles Michel. Secretary Blinken and President Michel reaffirmed U.S. and EU support for Ukraine’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.
