EU's Michel welcomes Baku's readiness to resume talks with Yerevan in Brussels
European Council President Charles Michel has welcomed Azerbaijan's commitment to resume Armenia-Azerbaijan normalization talks in Brussels.
"Welcome Azerbaijan's commitment to resume the Brussels process trilateral meeting to advance a stable and prosperous South Caucasus," Michel posted on X on Thursday.
He said he had "substantive discussions" on the Armenia-Azerbaijan normalization with Aliyev.
On Thursday, the Azerbaijani presidential office said Aliyev told Michel in a phone call at the latter's initiative that "Azerbaijan always supports trilateral meetings held in Brussels at Charles Michel's initiative."
