Macron hosts banquet in honor of Pashinyan
French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron on Wednesday hosted an official banquet in Paris in honor of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his spouse Anna Hakobyan, the Armenian government reported.
Pashinyan arrived in France on February 21. He held a meeting with Macron and attended the solemn pantheonization of WWII resistance hero Missak Manouchian. Pashinyan later met with President of the French Senate Gerard Larcher.
The Armenian premier's working visit to France will continue on February 22. He is set to meet with French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal and Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo.
