Azeri soldier held after crossing into Armenia
Armenian troops neutralized an Azerbaijani serviceman who crossed the Armenian-Azerbaijani border in the area of the Tegh community in Syunik Province early on Wednesday morning.
Armenia’s National Security Service (NSS) reported that the Azerbaijani soldier was armed with an AKM assault rifle and a mag of bullets.
A criminal investigation has been launched into the incident.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense reported that one of its servicemen got lost in Lachin due to adverse weather.
