Armenian city hosts int'l chess tournament
Armenia's third largest city of Vanadzor is hosting an international chess tournament from August 1 to 7.
Vanadzor Open 2024 is held in A, B, C, D, E groups, the Armenian Chess Federation reports.
This year it is held for the first time, but there are already about 300 participants, including 4 grandmasters and 9 international masters.
The total prize fund is 5,000,000 drams.
