Security chief: No force can cut off land link between Armenia, Iran
No force can cut off the land connection between Armenia and Iran, Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan said at a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Mehdi Sobhani on Sunday.
In a statement on Monday, the Iranian Embassy said Sobhani reiterated Iran’s opposition to any border changes and support for the territorial integrity of its neighboring countries.
Grigoryan thanked the diplomat for Iran’s unwavering stance, highly valuing relations between Armenia and Iran.
“Armenia attaches special importance to relations with Iran, and no force can cut off the land link between Armenia and Iran,” he added.
