Armenian GM beats Azeri rival at European Individual Chess Championship
The European Individual Chess Championship 2024 is being held in Petrovac, Montenegro from 7-20 November.
After 3 rounds, GM Robert Hovhannisyan has scored 3 points. In the last round, Robert defeated GM Misratdin Iskandarov of Azerbaijan, the Armenian Chess Federation reported.
GM Aram Hahobyan has collected 2.5 points.
GM Shant Sargsyan, GM Gabriel Sargissian, GM Manuel Petrosyan, GM Emin Ohanyan, GM Mamikon Gharibyan, IM Robert Piliposyan, FM Benik Agasarov, FM Erik Gasparyan and IM David Gevorgyan have 2 points.
GM Haik Martirosyan and Hayk Yeritsyan have 1.5 points.
The 4th round starts at 6pm Yerevan time today.
