Prosperous Armenia, HAK to move to Tsitsernakaberd midday
Prosperous Armenia Party led by Gagik Tsarukyan will pay tribute to the victims of Armenian Genocide in the midday, party spokesman Khachik Galstyan told Panorama.am.
Just at the same time HAK plans a march to Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex headed by Levon Ter-Petrosyan.
Speaking to Panorama.am Communist Party leader Ruben Tovmasyan said the party will move to Tsitsernakaberd after “the government’s visit.” Although the communists are on their way to the memorial, they will wait for the government’s visit. “This is the rule, and it has always been so,” said Mr. Tovmasyan.
Panorama.am recalls that Turkey has traditionally rejected the mass killings of 1,5 million Armenians carried out early in the 20th century and took the criticism of the West painfully.
