Heritage Party leader Raffi Hovannisian tears up his ballot during constitutional referendum in Armenia
The leader of opposition Heritage Party Raffi Hovannisian publicly tore up his ballot at polling station No 10/16 in Nork-Marash administrative district of Yerevan.
“In the name of the Republic of Armenia,” he said as he dropped the torn ballot in a ballot box.
Raffi Hovannisian had earlier announced his decision to do such a thing “in civil protest against the constitutional referendum”.
