PRIME MINISTER DISCUSSED COOPERATION PERSPECTIVES WITH IRAN AMBASSADOR
Today the Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran Seyed Ali Saghaian. According to the press and public relations department of the Government, the officials discussed some question of implementing ongoing projects as well as the perspectives of new ones.
“Iran completely supports the president of Armenia and the Government in all the branches which are announced as the supreme ones for the country,” said the Ambassador. The sides notified that the economic relationship and investment projects need to be more activated and strengthened.
The Ambassador said that two major international conferences are going to take place in Tehran. The topics discussed within it are transfers, reconstruction. The Ambassador asked the Prime Minister to prepare the list of the ministers participating in the conference. T. Sargsyan said that the minister of transport and communication and territorial administration will take part in the conference.
T. Sargsyan and the Ambassador of Iran signified establishing chief councils in Tavris and Kapan. The officials also discussed questions on Armenian-Iranian inter-state committee session which should be organized in the summer of this year.
