U.S. has high expectations from Armenian elections, Eric Rubin
The United States of America has great expectations from these elections and backs Armenia in different waves – supports governmental and law enforcement bodies, works with non-governmental organizations and press services to avoid biased publications, Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Eric Rubin said in an interview with “Voice of America.”
Answering to the question which parties the U.S. gives preference to, Mr Rubin said the U.S. doesn’t prefer any party, but supports the process.
“The mission is expression of Armenian people’s will, and not the will of any political force,” stressed Mr Rubin adding: “The United States is serious with Armenian President’s assurances to host the best ever elections since the Independence Day of Armenia.”
