Greek President to visit Armenia
Greek President Karolos Papoulias will arrive in Armenia for a two-day state visit on September 29 at the invitation of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, the Armenian President’s press service reported.
In Yerevan, Mr Papoulias will meet with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, National Assembly Speaker Galust Sahakyan and Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan.
The Greek leader will visit the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Tsitsernakaberd to pay tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
Agreements aimed at enhancing Armenian-Greek relations will be signed at the Armenian President’s residence. The Armenian and Greek Presidents will make a media statement on the results of their talks.
Serzh Sargsyan and Karolos Papoulias will attend Armenian-Greek business forum in Yerevan.
Also, as part of his visit, the Greek President will visit the Historical and Cultural Reserve-Museum in Garni.
