Azerbaijan officially returned to idea that there is no alternative to OSCE MG format - expert
The meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents held in Paris on October 27 is the continuation the negotiations that followed the escalation of tensions at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and Karabakh-Azerbaijani Line of Contact, political analyst Hrant Melik-Shahnazaryan told reporters on Wednesday.
In his words, the main achievement of the Paris meeting is that Azerbaijan officially returned to the idea that there is no alternative to the OSCE Minsk Group format and the negotiations should go on in this format.
“It was felt that Aliyev does not have any new provisions or factors to strengthen his position at the negotiating table,” Melik-Shahnazaryan said.
