OSCE Minsk Group is accomplishing its tasks – analyst
The task of the OSCE Minsk Group is to maintain the status quo and continue the peace process and it has been accomplishing this task for 20 years, political analyst, director of the Caucasus Institute Alexander Iskandaryan told reporters on Friday.
Iskandaryan noted that to bring the negotiations on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict to the international format, the Minsk Group tries to involve representatives of different countries in the talks.
“Baku’s actions at the Line of Contact, Azerbaijan’s internal problems, the confrontation between Russia and the West and the upcoming centenary of the Armenian Genocide complicate the work of the Minsk Group, but it will continue its activities,” he added.
