Nalbandian: Armenia reaffirmed readiness to continue cooperation with EU
During the session of Armenia-European Union Cooperation Council in January, Armenia reaffirmed its readiness to continue comprehensive cooperation with the European Union in all possible areas and this must also be confirmed at the Eastern Partnership summit in Riga, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said at a press conference with visiting Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders.
Nalbandian noted that at the Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius Armenia and the European Union adopted a joint statement expressing their readiness to strengthen comprehensive cooperation taking into account Armenia’s commitments in the other integration processes.
“We confirmed this during the session of Armenia-European Union Cooperation Council in January 2015 and I believe that we must reaffirm this at the Riga summit,” Nalbandian emphasized.
