Nagorno-Karabakh anticipating constructive approach also on part of Baku
On 7 October President Bako Sahakyan received Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group Robert Bradtke (USA), Igor Popov (Russian Federation), Bernard Fassier (France) and accompanying them experts who arrived in the Artsakh Republic within the frameworks of the Minsk Group co-chairmanship field assessment mission.
Issues related to the realization of the mission were discussed during the meeting. The Head of the State noted that in Artsakh all conditions were created for carrying out the activities on a proper level, the central information department of Artsakh President’s office reported.
The second phase of the field assessment mission to be conducted in the territories of the Artsakh Republic occupied by Azerbaijan was touched upon, too. Within this context President Sahakyan noted that the Artsakh authorities were anticipating constructive approach also on the part of Baku for successful realization of the mission in the occupied territories of Shahoumyan, Getashen, Martakert and Martouni.
Latest developments taking place in the process of Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict settlement were also discussed during the meeting. The President noted that the anti-Armenian propaganda and destructive steps continue in Azerbaijan and it greatly hinders the conflict settlement. President called on the Co-Chairs to react to these developments in an appropriate manner.
Foreign Minister of the Artsakh Republic Georgy Petrossyan and other officials partook at the meeting.
