Five Armenian IT companies win GITI 2010 Awards
ICT Development and Cyber Security Event GITI 2010 was held between November 10 and 12 in Tbilisi, Georgia. Five Armenian companies - X-TECH, IDram, EKENG, LimeTech and Essential Solutions won GITI Awards.
Managing Adviser at the Union of Information Technologies Enterprises, UITE Expo Director Vahan Hovsepyan said that thanks to GITI 2010 Armenian ICT companies gained wide recognition and new partners.
Awards were given in the nomination of best solutions for state and private sectors.
“3 companies participated in GITI in 2008, 29 in 2009. They won 4 out of 12 awards. This year Armenia has won 5 awards out of 14. We have improved our position this year. We took 33 percent awards last year and 36 percent awards this year,” Managing Adviser at the Union of Information Technologies Enterprises, UITE Expo Director Vahan Hovsepyan said.
X-TECH won Best Multimedia Solution award for DIGITEC EXPO 2010 multimedia CD featuring all companies participating in GITI 2010, information concerning them.
LimeTech won the Best Integrator of the Year award. It presented State Revenue Committee information pavilion having many innovations.
30 representatives of 18 IT companies represented Armenia at GITI 2010 with the support of D-Link, USAID Caps, USAID RCI.
