Balearic Islands of Spain adopted declaration on Armenian Genocide

 Balearic Islands of Spain recognized the tragic events of 1915-1921 that Armenians were forced to pass as Genocide, which completely corresponds to UN Convention on Genocide adopted on 9 December, 1948, “Ermenihaber.am” news web site reports.

According to the source the decision on Armenian Genocide has more a declarative nature, and not a legislative code. The parliament officially informed the Armenian Embassy of Spain.
