Azerbaijani teacher is fired for wearing hijab

 Azerbaijani teacher Aygun Soleymanova has been fired from the 196th school in Govsan village for wearing hijab, Iranian “arannews.ir” informs.

According to the source the drector has warned the teacher if she wanted to keep her office, she had to refuse wearing of hijab.

“Aygun Soleymanova applied to the ministry of education and science and to foundation after Heydar Aliyev, which is chaired by Azerbaijani First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva but has received no response,” Iranian website writes.
