M. Alexandrov: Nagorno-Karabakh developed as a state
“Artsakh, like South Ossetia and Abkhazia, will be recognized as an independent state, if Azerbaijan attacks it,” Michael Alexandrov, head of CIS Institute Caucasus department said in a news conference adding that Nagorno-Karabakh has been developed as a state, but the West impedes its independence.
He has expressed his concerns over Azerbaijan violating the ceasefire regime and Euro Atlantic organizations, as well as OSCE Minsk Group calling on the both sides to stop the fire.
“It happens when the ceasefire is particularly violated by Azerbaijan,” Mr. Alexandrov said.
Referring to the social-economic and state management system of Artsakh, expert said great work has been done, and even comparing with S. Ossetia and Abkhazia, Artsakh sometimes has more improved positions.
