5.0-magnitude quake strikes Van Province in eastern Turkey
An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale hit Turkey’s Van Province Sunday, June 24, 23:07 local time, CNN Turk reported.
Panic-stricken people rushed out of their homes and spent the night outdoors waiting for a possible recurrence of the earthquake.
There were no reports of injuries or damage, Turkey’s Emergency Management General Directorate said.
