7 Armenians abducted from bus en route from Beirut to Aleppo
Syrian armed rebels have stopped a passenger bus traveling from Beirut to Aleppo and forced passengers out.
Yerkir Media TV, citing witnesses, reports that they released the women but 10 men, including 7 Armenians and 3 Christian Arabs, remained in captivity.
The black-clothed armed men forced the passengers to kneel down, hit them and carried them away, witnesses said.
The abductors are said to demand handover of their companions-in-arms - a total of 150 people - that had been detained and threaten to kill the 10 captives if the rebels are not handed back within 3 days.
The identities of the captives are still unknown.
