Militonyan: We will give innovative and traditional solutions to existing problems
The elections were transparent and fair and the other three candidates have congratulated me, newly elected chairman of the Writers’ Union of Armenia Edward Militonyan told Panorama.am.
Edward Militonyan was elected chairman of the Writers’ Union of Armenia at the Union’s congress on Sunday. He received 199 votes.
Asked to name the problems to which he plans to give an urgent solution, Militonyan said, “I am not a new person here - I have been secretary of the Writers’ Union for nine years. I am aware of all problems. There are current, prospective and planned tasks, professional and social problems, urgent problems and those that need to be solved in the course of time. We will proceed with our works and will give innovative and traditional solutions to the existing problems.”
