Envoy: Poland does not supply arms to Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone
Military cooperation between Armenia and Poland implies technical aspect and the Polish side is committed to its principles: not to supply arms to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone, outgoing Ambassador of Poland to Armenia Zdzisław Raczyński told reporters on Monday.
The Ambassador said that Poland supports the OSCE Minsk Group’s efforts. “Escalation of the situation and aggressive rhetoric do not contribute to the establishment of peace and settlement of the problem,” Mr Raczyński said.
According to him, Armenia and Azerbaijan are doomed to peace. “It is necessary to bring up a society ready for peace,” the envoy said, adding that the sides should have willingness to resolve the conflict peacefully.
