Aleppo-Armenian children sending their savings to Artsakh
Despite the dire conditions in Syria, students of the Sahagian and Zavarian Armenian National Schools of Aleppo are trying to express their solidarity with Artsakh and make their small, yet very symbolic contributions, reports Hayern Aysor website.
The source informs that Member of the Parliament of Syria, press speaker of the Armenian Diocese of Aleppo, Zhirayr Reyisyan said that the students have decided to save the little money that they have and send it to the soldiers of Artsakh and to their compatriots.
“This is the best expression of the perseverance to survive. The Armenian children and youth of Aleppo, who have felt the weight of difficulties, bombings and insecurity on their own skin, know more than others what it means to be in a war and to be at risk,” Zhirayr Reyisyan stated.
According to the source, Armenian children of Aleppo made their donations before their year-end exams on the morning of 3 May when the city was being bombarded.
