Yerevan standoff: Two members of “Daredevils of Sassoun” wounded as a result of their provocations

Founding Parliament has issued a statement, according to which, around 2:00 am on July 26, the police, allegedly, “opened fire [at Khorenatsi Str.] wounding members of “Daredevils of Sassoun”, Ashot Petrosyan and Hovhannes Harutyunyan on the legs”.

According to the statement, another incident was recorded around 7:00 am. The police tried to stop Artur Sargsyan, who broke through the crowd control barrier carrying food on his car. “He managed to deliver the food to [Erebuni Police HQ] without any injuries”.

According to other sources, the provocations were organized by the members of the armed group, who opened fire towards the policemen overnight and left the building on a car trying to hit the police officers. Two members of the armed group were wounded during the incident. They have been taken to a hospital.

To remind, yesterday members of the armed group set fire to 3 police cars at Erebuni HQ.
