Charges to be pressed against two members of the armed group
Charges against two members of the “Daredevils of Sasun” group, which seized on July 19 the patrol police regiment in Yerevan, are to be soon pressed, Lusine Hakobyan, the lawyer of the suspects told Panorama.am.
Hakobyan added that Gagik Yeghiazaryan and Aram Hakobyan are currently kept at the hospital for inmates, while Pavel Manukyan is still in Erebuni Medical Center.
To remind, on July 27 the Armenian Police reported about the surrender of the two members of the group to the authorities.
Earlier a criminal was initiated according to the Part 3 of the Article 219 of the RA Criminal Code (Occupation of buildings, facilities, means of transportation or communication by an organized group) and Part 3 of the Article 235 (Illegal procurement, transportation or carrying of weapons, ammunition, explosives or explosive devices by an organized group) against four members of the armed group.
The crimes are punished with imprisonment for the term of 6 to 12 and 3 to 8 years respectively.
