Oman interested in boosting cooperation with Armenia in various spheres
Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian has today held a meeting with Foreign Minister of Oman Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah.
As the Press Service of Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) told Panorama.am, Edward Nalbandian noted that he warmly remembers his visit paid to Oman as a first special envoy of the Armenian President in 1993 and the meetings held in Muscat.
Minister Nalbandian underscored that enhancing cooperation with the Arab states is one of the priorities of Armenia’s foreign policy agenda.
FM Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah highlighted that Oman is interested in developing mutually beneficial cooperation with Armenia in various spheres.
The interlocutors shared the idea that it is necessary to take maximum efforts to promote cooperation in the spheres of economy and trade. The need of developing legal framework was also underscored during the meeting.
