Armenia records the greatest GDP growth in ten years
The gross domestic product (GDP) of Armenia was recorded at 7.5% in 2017, which is the greatest growth in ten years, according to the latest socio-economic indicators for 2017, released by the country's National Statistical Service.
According to the released data, in 2017, Armenia's GDP amounted to 5, 580, 116.9 trillion AMD (USD 11,606 billion) with the greatest growth rate recorded in the fourth semester.
According to the statistics, in 2017, the country's GDP per capita totaled to 1,873 thousand AMD (USD 3,880), thus constituting 10% growth to compare with the data of 2016.
