Artsakh children sending a message to their Azerbaijani peers
In early March 2018 a video from Azerbaijan went viral on social media. The video was uploaded by an Azerbaijani preschool, depicting young students, who are taught that Armenians are their enemies.
The footage prompted the Artsakh Ombudsman's Office to assess the situation on the other side of the Contact Line, conducting a social experiment in one of Artsakh preschools.
When asked whom the kids consider as their enemies, children give variety of answers - Spider-Man, dragon, Masha (from the famous Russian cartoon "Masha and the Bear") among them.
In the end, children send their messages to the Azerbaijani boy Yunus, who described Armenians as their enemy. "Yunus, you are not an enemy to me," "Yunus, I am not your enemy," the kids said.
The reportage is accompanied by scenes of brutalities and war crimes committed by Azerbaijani forces during the April war in 2016.
