Roads in Armenia mainly passable
Roadways are mostly open for traffic in the territory of Armenia as of 10 a.m. on Wednesday, the Ministry of Emergency Situations told Panorama.am.
Clear weather is expected in the country on 5-6 April, while showers and thunderstorm are predicted in Vayots Dzor, Syunik and Artsakh in the daytime of 4 April.
According to the source, Sotk-Karvachar highway is difficult to pass. Tsilkar-Spitak highway and the roads of Mastara village of Aragatsotn Province are partly coated with black ice.
Snowfalls hit the roads of Martuni, Sevan and Vardenis towns of Gegharkunik Province, with fog observed in Chambarak town and Zanger highway section in Vayots Dzor Province.
According to the information provided by the Emergency Situations Agency of Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and the General Department of the Republic of North Ossetia of Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations, Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.
