Smart Home, manufactured in Armenia, entered the European and Russian market

Armenian company Heltun, which specializes in the production of «Smart Home» systems, has delivered the first batch of products, produced in Armenia, to Europe.

The first 1000 products were sold to three large distributors, who will sell our Armenian made products in Scandinavia, Europe and Russia.

The Company founder and CEO, Ashot Mashuryan, particularly stressed that their products are one of the very few Armenian made hardware-engineered products. Ashot said that "Armenia has already proved itself exporting high-quality software to the world market. Despite we could have produced our products in China and Europe it was very important to produce in Armenia. This shows that high quality hardware can be successfully designed and manufactured in our country."

As the Company reports in a release, the first deliveries from Heltun, comprise: Smart thermostats, which allow up to 50% of energy saving as required for heating and conditioning of homes and offices. Wall touch panels, enabling the control of lighting, curtains, blinds, windows, doors, locks and many other powered products.
It is worth noting, that the entire systems can be controlled remotely by a smart phone or a tablet.

The Director of the first distributor in Scandinavia Mr S.Vojtjuk of Tronika AS mentioned that "I am sure, that Heltun products will find satisfied customers in Norway and will motivate product developers to make more exciting equipment that will change people's lives to be more comfortable and secure.”

Mr S.Poltorak the director of the Smart Devices company in Russia said that "the Armenian company’s products attracted us with their elegant design, high quality, and competitive price. Well considered the interface and broad functionality of the equipment became important factors in favor of our choosing Heltun who have fully met our expectations. We are sure, that in the foreseeable future they will become market leaders."

Ashot Mashuryan added that the company has developed more than 10 different products which will be brought to the market over the next months. Already during the next year he is planning to produce up to 10,000 units and increase the factory workforce by up to 30 people. "Despite that we can say with certainty that our products are in high demand and increasing we need to attract additional investment and qualified engineers to ensure further growth of the company and expansion of our production.”

Smart home is a complex of solutions for the automation of everyday activities which in automatic mode can control everything which takes place at home or in the office. The control of lightening, climate, windows, curtains, doors and locks, advanced security systems (for example, valve cut off in case of water leakage), multimedia systems (TV or audio/video) and many others can be managed by smart phone and voice commands. This is a high-tech system, enabling the integration of all utility systems into one network which can be placed under the control of artificial intelligence which is programmable and customizable to all the specific needs and requirements of the owner. Today these systems are not only a requirement for a comfortable and safe life but they also enable significant savings.

In 2016 the global market of smart home systems amounted to $24 billion and the growth of the market is predicted to be $53 billion by 2022, the source said.
