Pashinyan to address nation in ‘open, detailed conversation’ at Kapan rally
Acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan is visiting today the southeastern town of Kapan to take part in a campaign rally and touch upon nationwide issues, he said in a Facebook post.
“I am going to speak about all nationwide issues accumulated during this period. It will be an open, comprehensive and detailed conversation,” he wrote.
“I mean, my speech tonight will be addressed to not only Kapan or Syunik, but also all the towns and villages across Armenia. Thus, if you aren’t planning to come to Kapan, I expect you to join me in a Facebook live at 6pm,” he added.
Earlier Pashinyan unveiled his plans to visit Kapan to conduct discussions and participate in the rally of his My Step bloc’s mayoral candidate Narek Babayan.
Kapan is set to hold snap mayoral elections on 21 October, with three candidates running for the post.
