Acting defense minister meets with Rudy Giuliani
Acting Defense Minister of Armenia Davit Tonoyan held today meeting with former mayor of New York City Rudy Giuliani, who is paying private visit to Armenia at the invitation of Armenian businessman, the President of Union of Armenians in Russia Ara Abrahamyan.
At the suggestion of Giuliani, acting Minister Tonoyan briefed the guest on the current security environment around Armenia. The interlocutors exchanged views on a range of international and regional topics, the press department at the defense ministry reported.
It was bilaterally stressed the role of the Armenian community of the U.S and, in particular, New York in the internal life of the U.S. and the relations with Armenia.
