Armenia's Permanent Representative to PACE elected Chairman of the CoE Committee of Ministers
On November 14, Armenia's Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe (PACE) Paruyr Hovhannisyan was elected Chairman of the CoE Committee of Ministers on Education, Culture, Sport, Youth and Environment (GR-C). He will take office from November 14, 2018 to August 31, 2020.
Ambassadors of 47 member states represented in the Committee of Ministers unanimously approved the candidacy of Ambassador Hovhannisian, foreign ministry informed.
The Committee on Education, Culture, Sport, Youth and Environment is a coordinating body of the Committee of Ministers to which the results of the expert-level discussions of the Member States are being passed. If necessary, the group makes amendments, coordinates the positions of all Member States and submits them to the Committee of Ministers for approval.
