"We propose an interesting development program for Armenia, and the people have a good opportunity to make a choice," Orinats Yerkir Party leader Artur Baghdasaryan said today at a meeting with voters in Shamshadin.

"The revolution gave a wonderful opportunity to get rid of the problems accumulated during the recent 20 years and a very good opportunity to lead the country through progress and development," he said.

Arthur Baghdasaryan reminded that his party has done a great deal of work throughout these years.

"Today we are struggling to continue the return of deposits because at least 212 thousand people have received their deposits, but many people are still waiting. Additionally, we laid the foundation for free-of-charge childbirth, the money allocation by the state to a new-born child. Now we propose to create a maternal capital fund in Armenia so that mothers can receive money from the country to feed and raise her child, to care for their problems,”  the leader of Orinats Yerkir Party said.

Artur Baghdasaryan also mentioned that they propose to pay special attention to the frontier settlements, to take them under the state care, through providing them with subsidies from the state.

The leader of the Orinats Yerkir Party stressed that they are for the development of Armenian-Russian relations, re-equipment of borders, as well as setting the compulsory military service to one year, making the army 100% paid service.

Arthur Baghdasaryan also added that their party is against the enlargement of communities.
