Armenian FM meets with OSCE Secretary General
Acting Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with OSCE Secretary General Thomas Greminger.
The officials discussed the agenda of the 25th OSCE Ministerial Conference, a wide range of issues related to cooperation within the OSCE framework, exchanged views on the problems the organization is facing and their possible solution.
The sides touched upon the reforms implemented in Armenia in the framework of democracy, human rights protection and rule of law.
Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing the "Partnership with Armenia" program.
Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Thomas Geminger exchanged thoughts over the internal political developments in Armenia. The acting Foreign Minister reaffirmed the commitment of the Armenian government to ensure free, fair elections.
The interlocutors talked about the latest developments in the Nagorno-Karabakh peaceful settlement process, yesterday's meeting with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs and the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, as well as the joint statement of the Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers and the Heads of Delegation of the OSCE Co-Chair countries.
